WHO WE ARE

THE BEGINNING

Broward County Roadrunners was established in 2010 with 20 athletes. This club started as a dream that turned into reality. Coach Alicia Williams and Coach Melvin Howell  were seeking to develop/promote in children, the ideals of responsibilities, hard work, sportsmanship and teamwork, founded the club. The objective of this program is to instill confidence and build the character of each child. By providing a well-structured and disciplined program, we aim to educate each athlete and parent on the intricacies of sports training. We are committed to maintaining high standards while also allowing our kids to have a fun and positive experience. Since our inception we’ve had kids qualify for the Jr. Olympics for the past four seasons. We’re proud to say that some of our athletes have also received track and field scholarships for College. As we continue the success of Broward County Roadrunners we look for support from everyone. Every athlete on our team is making a difference. We thank everyone for their support and ask that you continue to follow and support us on our Road to victory!
